Mike Schmucker and Dennis Manges have been certified as wastewater professionals through the Indiana Onsite Wastewater Professionals Association, Inc. They are licensed well drillers, licensed through the Indiana Department of Natural Resources.

We provide the following services.

Well drilling

We can drill 4, 5 & 6 inch wells. We can drill wells up to 300 + feet in depth. We will set up your new well so that you can chlorinate the well yourself. This can help keep your water bacteria free.

Well and Pump repair

Are you having problems with your pump or tank? We are knowledgeable on older as well as new equipment. We service all wells up to 6”.

Septic Systems

We install all types of septic systems such as mound systems, conventional gravel systems, flood dose systems and more. If your property requires a mound, we can offer you an alternative system that uses an aerobic treatment unit (ATU) with drip irrigation which may eliminate the need for the mound in your yard. We specialize in the newer environmentally friendly systems such as those that include ATU. We have also installed wetland drain field systems. If we put in a system for you we will design the system and get the required permits.

Repair of failed septic systems

If your septic system is not working properly, we will come to check out your system and let you know what your options are. One of your options is the addition of an aerobic treatment unit (ATU) into a failed septic system. The ATU can bring the system back into service usually within a couple of months and can increase the life of your septic system. Usually we can give you several options for the repair of your septic system.

Septic alarms

If your septic alarm has gone off, give us a call. We service and replace the pumps that are in your septic system.

Septic maintenance

The septic tank needs to be cleaned out regularly in order to keep the solids in the tank from going out into the drain field and eventually plugging it up. We recommend that your tank should be cleaned out every 2 years.

Water softeners

We sell and install Sanitizer Water- Rite water softeners. The Water-Rite softener is the best one made for well water. It removes the hardness and iron in well water. It also makes its own chlorine so it can sanitize itself while regenerating.

Trenching

Need a water hydrant at the barn or your garden or have other trenching needs? We have two trenchers and can dig trenches up to 6.5 feet deep.
